Founding Team

Andrew Meyers
Founding School Design Architect and Advisor
Andrew Meyers serves as Director of Academic Programming and College Access at Comp Sci High and is currently in his fifth year at the school. Over the past nine years, he has built a career dedicated to expanding educational opportunity and advancing college access for students from historically underrepresented backgrounds. Prior to joining Comp Sci High, Andrew served as the Lead College Counselor and Executive Director at the Educational Equity Foundation, an ACT Prep teacher at Byhalia High School and West Tallahatchie High School, and a Counselor and Tutor at Platinum Test Prep. Andrew is a proud graduate of Princeton University (BA) and the Mississippi Teacher Corps (MAT). At Princeton, he was a four-year Division I varsity athlete, a two-time recipient of the German Book Prize, and a member of the 2013 NCAA Championship Team and Ivy League Championship teams. He is a recipient of the 2024 Outstanding Educator Award from the University of Chicago, a DAAD Fellow, and was named a STAR Teacher by the Mississippi Economic Council.

Bianca Golden
Founding School Design Learning Model Architect
Bianca Golden is an educator and school leader from Queens, New York, who has dedicated her career to building schools where Black and Brown students are not just welcomed, they are challenged, affirmed, and prepared to lead. The daughter of West Indian immigrants and the first in her family to earn a high school diploma, Bianca knows firsthand what it means to grow up navigating systems that weren't built with you in mind. That lived experience is not background, it is the foundation of everything she does. She earned her undergraduate degree from Lincoln University and went on to complete her master's, driven by a belief that the young people she serves deserve an educator who has done the work. Bianca is passionate about literacy as a pathway to agency and voice, and she leads with the conviction that high expectations, deep care, and rigorous instruction are not in tension — they are inseparable. She refuses to lower the bar for any child. Instead, she builds the systems, the culture, and the relationships that make it possible for every student to clear it. She currently serves as the English Department Chair at Comp Sci High, a public charter school located in the South Bronx.

Quianna McNair
Founding School Design Ethical Leadership Architect
Currently serving as Director of Work-Based Learning at Comp Sci High and soon to be Principal of the Comp Sci High Alternative School, Quianna McNair was born and raised in Harlem, Manhattan, proudly embracing her Caribbean heritage through her Jamaican father and Trinidadian mother. The youngest of three, she attended Pelham Preparatory Academy before beginning her college journey at Genesee Community College, where she studied criminal justice. She later returned to New York City to participate in the nationally recognized Year Up program, interning at JPMorgan Chase and transitioning into a full-time role. While working, she earned her bachelor's degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources from SUNY Empire State College. As Director of Work-Based Learning, Quianna leads programs that connect high school students to meaningful career experiences, strengthen their professional and interpersonal skills, and expand pathways to economic mobility. She is also helping to found the CSH Alternative School, an innovative, student-centered model launching next year. She works closely with students, families, educators, and community partners to ensure every graduate is prepared for college and career success.

Dennis Pooler
Founding School Design Architect and Advisor
Dennis Pooler serves as Managing Director of Postsecondary Strategy and Success at Comp Sci High, a computer science charter school located just blocks from where he was raised in the South Bronx. A proud Native New Yorker, Dennis has spent the past decade advocating for the economic freedom and liberation of Black and Brown students, working to ensure they have access to the tools, networks, and opportunities necessary to thrive beyond high school. Driven by a deep belief in youth empowerment, Dennis founded Pooler Learning, an education consultancy dedicated to supporting students through the college application process and training the schools and professionals who serve them. He earned his Bachelor's degree in English with a focus in Education from The College of Mount Saint Vincent and began his career teaching elementary school and serving as a literacy specialist. While he has no children of his own, Dennis proudly considers himself a father figure to more than 1,000 students—and to his blue-nose pit, Ka$h.

Elizabeth Meyers
Chief Operations Officer
Elizabeth Meyers is the Chief Operations Officer of Mosaic Shalom Academy. Elizabeth spent over six years at Accenture, where she advised clients on complex, large-scale transformation initiatives across highly regulated and fast-moving industries. She specialized in operations, program management, and cross-functional execution, leading efforts that required coordination across diverse teams and stakeholders. Her work supported initiatives impacting hundreds of users and thousands of workflows, particularly within nuclear energy, chemicals, and supply chain environments. Earlier in her career, she worked as an analyst at Salka LLC, partnering directly with senior leadership on wind and solar development projects, and interned with GEA Group in Germany, supporting investor relations work across global food, beverage, and industrial sectors. She studied at Princeton University, where she was a member of the NCAA Division I fencing team, and also completed coursework in accounting and finance at the London School of Economics. Beyond her professional work, Elizabeth is actively involved in animal welfare as a volunteer and foster with Muddy Paws Rescue.
