High School Model
Cristo Rey-Inspired Work-StudyStudents participate in structured, paid work-study experiences that help offset the cost of their education while building real professional skills.
The Model
In the traditional Cristo Rey model, students work one day per week in corporate or nonprofit settings, and their earnings are directed toward the cost of their schooling.
MSA will adapt this framework to ensure that students are paired specifically with mission-driven partners whose work aligns with our values and supports the development of socially conscious leaders.
Partnership Organization Targets
NAACP
Jewish National Fund
American Jewish Committee
Anti-Defamation League
Urban League
Local hospitals and community health centers
Environmental and conservation groups
Municipal agencies in Westchester and NYC
Nonprofits focused on education, housing, food security, and social justice
These partnerships will allow students to engage in meaningful work experiences while contributing to organizations that reflect our commitment to equity, community service, and intercultural understanding.
Sustainable & Mission-Driven
Together, these funding sources provide a diversified and stable financial foundation that supports high-quality instruction, trilingual programming, and intercultural learning experiences for all students—from middle school through high school graduation.
